Daniel Trauner

Daniel won a point-and-shoot camera in a raffle when he was 12 and living in New York, and has enjoyed both the formal and informal study of photography ever since. His belief that the most effective artworks enable a diverse audience to experience shared emotion and common understanding is reflected in his own work, which is focused on expansive landscapes, and more recently, street photography. Following a few years of living and working in San Francisco, he has started exploring a number of mixed media works, combining his passions for art history, computers, electronics, and psychology.
